Web Publish publishes the active database as a series of static web pages. You can specify summary fields.

With your database open:

1. Select the Database: Web Publish command from AppleWorks’ Scripts menu. It creates a new Web Form document, listing your fields.
   
2. If you want to break up your database, with one page for all records which have the same value in a particular field, enable the “Page Break” checkbox for that field.
   
3. For each field that you want in the web pages, select a number in its “Result Order” pop up menu. You may also want to alter its “Format”, such as right aligned or raw HTML.
   
4. Run "Web Publish” again. When asked, choose a folder into which the web pages can be saved. You should save it into your Sites folder in Mac OS X, if you are running a web server on your own computer, or else save it somewhere them upload the folder to your web server.
   

Operates on the front document, which must be a database document.

This script works with AppleWorks 6, not version 5 or earlier.

Only registered users are permitted to use the supplied files after 14 days.
